We’re excited to invite you to build bluebird boxes in partnership with Building Goodness Foundation (BGF), Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC), and the Virginia Bluebird Society (VBS)!

Join us Saturday, August 9th at the Building Goodness Foundation office to learn how to assemble a bluebird nest box. No construction experience is required, and all tools and materials will be provided. Participants will be able to take home one bird box per household to aid conservation efforts in their own backyards!

PEC will give a presentation on the importance of grassland birds and how to take care of the bird boxes, which are versatile and can go in rural or urban areas. At the end of the workshop, PEC will distribute any additional bird boxes to landowners.

Lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
